I just picked up the Terk HDTVO HD antenna and have read mixed reviews. For the die hard HD antenna folks, they recommend going with something not so fancy. The thing that sold me was the ability to attach it to a satellite dish mount. I have a satellite dish on my roof already and it’s not being used at all.
So far it’s worked out very nicely and have been able to pick up some new channels too!
In recent weeks there has been much news about Toyota’s massive recall on their line of 2010 cars. This recall was due to a “sticky” accelerator pedal. Next came the safety issue about the Toyota Prius’ anti-lock braking system not activating under certain conditions. Does it just seem rather odd that all of the sudden there’s huge scrutiny an media coverage about this? Granted safety is the number one concern for everybody, but I am wondering if the US is using this to their advantage for propaganda against the Toyota and persuade consumers to buy American cars… or Honda/VolksWagon, etc. I know one thing is for sure, Toyota’s next quarterly reports are going to be terrible due to the halt in sales, and damage control invested to fix these problems. I’m sure Toyota’s going to have to come out with a very aggressive program to regain consumer confidence and pricing.
